George Jabez Price (c.1878 – 31 May 1938) a footballer of short stature who played mainly as a forward.
Price joined Burslem Port Vale in January 1896 and by the turn of the century became a regular feature in the first 11 and was an ever-present for the 1900–01 campaign. He had lost his place by September 1906 however and departed at the close of the 1906–07 season with the club in the grip of a financial crisis.[1]
